(Ok, ok, if anyone has a better name for it Im open to suggestion!) Ok well here's the deal! Each month I will be selecting one member at random with at least one post on the message board. And, that lucky winner maybe receive one or up to 3 random Rapalas! I can't promise exactly what is going to be sent, but hell they are all free!

What's the catch? There isn't one really, you just need to have at least TEN POSTS on the boards to qualify. I will announce the winner here, and an email will be sent to that winner. If I don't hear back within a week, I'll pull someone else's name. For you international folk, keep in mind that shipping isn't cheap, so I'll be sending it the cheapest (and probably slowest) way possible.

I reserve the right the change the rules as we go along, depending how well this goes. I am really just trying to encourage some more activity around here, especially this time of year, when it's spring and it has a tendency to get a little quiet.

The only thing I ask the winner is to tell their friends about the site, that is all. And also post pics of the fish you catch on your Rapalas!

I was going to wait until May to start this, but I guess I got a little excited and figured we could use a winner for April. Next month and coming months we hope to have the lures sponsored by respectable ebay sellers, all we ask is that you visit their listings and help them out by taking some more lures n stuff off their hands!

With that being said, for the month of April, the winner is....

Two things:

1) I am kind of glad the first winner wasn't some with only 1 post - >:(

2) kind of ironic the first group of lures is going to 'Finland' :)

Free Rapalas!?! Now you have my attention! I fall on the side of the crazies that fish with my Rapalas. In about 2hrs. of reading posts I've already learned a lot about these great lures. I already spend a small fortune each year on Rapalas, if I start hanging them on the wall, I'm really in trouble!

I'm still waiting for Mr. tom1 to let me know if he got his lures... :D


Anyway, the drawing for the month of May will be here before you know it!

Who knows what the May winner might get...perhaps included could be a custom painted Rapala, maybe something old, maybe something new....or maybe all three...or more! >:(


And with that, May should prove to be an exciting month around here...
